We have used a lot of tripods over the years and never found one that truly does it all in a completely self-contained device. When it came to developing this product, we considered the wide range of tools a creator needs to capture their story properly. We built it from the ground up and created a robust, multifunctional stabilizing system with cleverly integrated features that is intuitive to use. Beyond being a great tripod in its own right, it works as an excellent tabletop/ground-level tripod, handheld stabilizer, and monopod with a 3-leg base.
A Completely Reimagined Ball Head (patent pending). During the design process, we developed an entirely new way to attach your phone or camera to the tripod’s ball head. With the turn of a knob, you can switch between a Dovetail (arca-type) quick release mount for your camera and an adjustable phone clamp. Never get bogged down again fiddling with tiny screwdrivers, adaptors, or additional parts - it's all integrated.
Introducing the Flexor (patent pending). In place of a standard center column, the Chronicle features an entirely new design. With a camera or phone attached to the head, turn the knob on the side of the Chronicle’s yoke and then pull up on the ball head; the assembly easily lifts out of the tripod to form a comfortable, round handheld stabilizer. Open the Flexor’s legs, and the unit becomes a tabletop or ground level tripod! That’s not all. Detach one of the tripod’s legs to form a traditional monopod by installing the upper portion of the Flexor, with the ball head still attached, to the top of the leg. Unscrew the standard rubber foot from the monopod leg and install the Flexor’s bottom section, and gain a monopod with a sturdy 3-leg base!
